Already the second year in a row, November is the month where I travel half around the world to fulfill my wanderlust, meet with friends and get to know foreign cultures. This year it took me to Mexico and I could’t be happier about it. This country is very multifaceted, has fascinating people and beautiful landscapes. In Mexico is also located Chichén Itzá - one of the newly named Seven Wonders of the World.
So basically, Chichén Itzá was one of the largest Maya cities and inhabited for hundreds of years. Now it is one of the most visited sites in Mexico and a pyramid known as El Castillo dominates the center of this ancient city.
We explored Chichén Itzá for a couple of hours and were super happy that we added it to your bucket list. It’s definitely a must see if you are visiting Mexico!
