It's been seven weeks since I came back from Boston and started another chapter of my life in Munich. Therefore, my past few weeks were all about finding a new apartment, shop furniture and all the other things that are associated with a move.
Anyway, last weekend I definitely needed a change of scene and fortunately, the weather supported my needs. So on Saturday morning, my husband and I just took the car and we drove south towards Eibsee.

Eibsee is a lake approximately 100 km southwest of Munich and next to the highest mountain in Germany, the "Zugspitze".
Around the lake is a 7 km trail with amazing viewpoints and lovely rest areas.
And in addition to these views: From here, you can also take the cogwheel train / cable car to Zugspitze summit and enjoy the Eibsee from a bird's-eye view.
