While exploring the New England Coast beginning of June, my husband and I also took the opportunity and stopped at the lovely family farm called Russel Orchards.
This farm and winery is just a short distance from Crane’s Beach in Ipswich, Massachusetts and has quite a few nice things to do, to see and to try. For example, from May thru November you can come here on weekends for tasting events and enjoy many award winning fruit wines. During the summer months, you can stop by and pick your own fruits (strawberries, raspberries, etc.), take a hay ride and shop baked goods and wines made with the fruits from the orchard. And in fall, you can come here for apple picking, yummy apple cider donuts and of course for pumpkin patches. I also enjoyed the farm animals and the lovely details at the grounds. It's such a nice place!
